Favorite Quotes

The past is behind, learn from it.
The future is ahead, prepare for it.
The present is here, live it.
Thomas S. Monson (August 21, 1927 - )

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
 Mae West

“In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.”
― Robert Frost

Mother Teresa
“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”

My Favorite Poet....

Dr. Seuss on…

1. being yourself:

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

2. freedom and choice:

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself, any direction you choose.”

3. no regrets:

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

4. clarity:

“Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.”

5. creativity:

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.”

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams. “

7. activism:

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”

8. brain power:

“Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”

9. looking after Earth:

“I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues.”

10. process and patience:

“If things start happening, don’t worry, don’t stew, just go right along and you’ll start happening too.”

Dating Advise For Boys

                                                               How To Get A Girl

Say a girl is over talking with her friends and you keep making eye contact with her throughout the night. You finally get the balls to go over and talk to her!

Step #1- You make sure to introduce yourself first and then you get everyone names in return. You give all the girls equal attention as your talking to the group, while talking, its important to make eye contact, it shows your confident in yourself.

Step #2- Then just as the conversation is about to end, you focus on the girl your interested in and you ask her for her number (casually). Then you walk out of the conversation. IMPORTANT  You make sure to wait a day or two to text her ( if you wait too long the girl thinks your not into her and moves on, And it can be creepy if you text her too soon).

Step #3- When you do text her it should go something like this... " Hey      HER NAME      , this is     Your Full Name     what are you up to?" this gets the conversation going.

Step #4- Now you need to get to know her, ask her what she likes to do, find out her interest. Girls usually like talking about themselves and they usually like it when guys get personal with them, it shows they're truly interested.

Step #5- If she is texting  you back and asking you the same questions, then it usually means she is just as into you as you are into her. This gives you the OKAY to go ahead and text her something like this...
"what are your plans for this weekend?"and then you can ether take her on a date or plan to hang out.
But either way be a man and generally make the plans for either one.... Do Not ask a girl on a date and then ask her to plan it by saying " So... what do you want to do?"

Intro

Hi. My name is Kylee Danielle Featherstone.
Over the past few years, I have helped my friends in some heavy boy drama. Boys. Boys. Boys.
Thats all I ever hear about these days.
So being the apartment therapist, I've learned that I love giving advice.
I love relating to people and being the third party observer on others relationships.
I have been told by many sources that they appreciate my advice, so I decided to make a blog of advice to share with any desperate, lovesick, girl that is longing for help with her relationship.
Over the next three months I am going to be updating new and helpful tips for a healthy relationship. So tune in weekly here on my blog.
Signing off,
Kylee Feather ;)
